WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE FOR
Balgray Wind Farm
We are exploring the potential to develop Balgray Wind Farm, located approximately 6km north-east of Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway.
We are at the very early stages of our proposals and hope that this website helps to provide information on the consultation we are undertaking, how the project is progressing, as well helping you to share your views and get involved.
We recently held our first round of public exhibitions. The materials can be found here.

WHO WE ARE
Your Project Team
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
A graduate in Environmental Management, Nathan joined Fred. Olsen Renewables in 2021. He has spent the past two years supporting the team in bringing forward a range of renewable projects in Scotland in partnership with communities and statutory consultees.
Nathan is leading on the delivery of Balgray Wind Farm. He will be overseeing the technical elements of the project, this includes the environmental studies and reports that form the Environmental Impact Assessment and the Environmental Impact Assessment Report that will accompany any future application.
I have worked in renewables for almost ten years, five of these have been at Fred. Olsen Renewables.
I am the main point of contact for the project and I manage all of the technical elements of the site design. From the initial feasibility stages, building a clear understanding of what can be delivered, to managing the delivery of the environmental studies and the EIA-R that accompanies our applications.
HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS
I support the team in helping to build relationships with communities and stakeholders throughout all development stages.
I am also responsible for working with communities to explore the opportunities that a wind farm can deliver and help to ensure that the local area can maximise these.
