Balgray Wind Farm

WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE FOR

Balgray Wind Farm

We are committed to working closely with local communities and stakeholders to bring forward proposals that are responsive to local views and opinions, help to support our net zero aspirations and make a positive contribution to the local economy.
Project Overview

We are exploring the potential to develop Balgray Wind Farm, located approximately 6km north-east of Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway.

We are at the very early stages of our proposals and hope that this website helps to provide information on the consultation we are undertaking, how the project is progressing, as well helping you to share your views and get involved.

We recently held our first round of public exhibitions. The materials can be found here

Laura Bell

Laura Bell

Project Manager

I have worked in renewables for almost ten years, five of these have been at Fred. Olsen Renewables.

I am the main point of contact for the project and I manage all of the technical elements of the site design. From the initial feasibility stages, building a clear understanding of what can be delivered, to managing the delivery of the environmental studies and the EIA-R that accompanies our applications.
